Due to the huge success of our last challenge and the awesome influx of new people, we are running **Bring an Experiment** again! We want even more of you to bring in your experiments. These can even be completely failed prints—remember, as 3D Printers, we love spaghetti!!
Master the art of scarf seam placement! This month's challenge focuses on dialing in your scarf seam settings and techniques.
For this month, we challenge you to try something new, crazy, or wild! It can be anything from simple cubes to complex prints. The goal is simply to push boundaries and try something you haven't done before.

We want to hear about what you tried. Be prepared to share:
* What was your experiment?
* Why did you try it?
* Did it work, or did it fail? (Failing is encouraged, it's about trying something new!)
The scarf seam is a powerful tool in your 3D printing arsenal. This challenge asks you to create a model with a carefully placed scarf seam on a **sphere**. Use this opportunity to experiment with different settings and share what you've learned about getting the perfect seam placement.
### Submission Requirements
* **Physical Model**: Bring your experimental print (or spaghetti!) to the **May 20th** meetup.
* **The Story**: Be ready to tell the group about your process and what you were testing.
### Judging & Prize
* **Voting**: The group will vote on their favorite experimental attempt.
* **Prize**: The winner will receive a **free spool of filament**!
* **Physical Model**: Bring your print to the **July 15th, 2026** meetup.
* **Size Constraint**: Your object must fit within a **75mm cubed space**.
* **Seam Location**: The seam must be positioned on a sphere (you can use the bottom half square approach if desired).
* **Settings Discussion**: Be prepared to share your print settings, temperature, speed, and any tricks you discovered for achieving clean scarf seams.
