# Past Challenge: August 2026
|
|
|
|
## Challenge: Gridfinity Extravaganza
|
|
|
|
In August 2026, we dove into the world of **Gridfinity**! Whether participants were long-time users or completely new to the modular organization system, members showed off their organizational skills and clever modules.
|
|
|
|
### The Focus: Organizational Efficiency
|
|
The goal was to create a functional and well-executed Gridfinity module that solved a real-world storage problem or simply looked great.
|
|
|
|
### Submission Requirements
|
|
|
|
* **Physical Model**: Brought to the August 19th, 2026 meetup.
|
|
* **Required Components**:
|
|
* At least one **Gridfinity Base** (the base plate).
|
|
* One **Top Accessory** that fits into that base (a bin, cover, tool holder, or other custom accessory).
|
|
* **The Story**: Participants explained what their accessory was for and how they approached the design and print.
|
|
|
|
### Judging & Prize
|
|
|
|
* **Voting**: The group voted on their favorite entry based on utility, creativity, and print quality.
|
|
* **Prize**: The winner received a **free spool of filament**!
|
|
|
|

* **Show & Tell / Voting**: August 19th, 2026 (during August meetup)
